Singer Songwriters at the Quarry

Performing on : 10 March,

From 6pm

International troubadour Carus Thompson the gifted songwriter & storyteller headlines this year’s inaugural Singer Songwriters at the Quarry concert, as part of his Island Album launch tour (backed by his full band).  His energetic and passionate performances have built a legion of fans worldwide.  He has sold over 30,000 albums and supported luminaries such as Dave Matthews, Damien Rice & Jack Johnson.  Carus will journey through quiet ballads, to all out folk-rockers, to some reggae dance-floor fillers!  Carus played to rave reviews at Acoustic Alchemy in November 2015…

In support is Nathan Gaunt the very talented Perth artist with a unique blend of atmospheric, soulful rock/folk/blues with a hint of Eastern influence.

Based in Perth, Nathan has built a substantial following and sold more than 10,000 records, toured the breadth and width of the State, done a short run of shows in Europe, played with masters in India on an extensive musical tour and has played in the South by South West festival in Austin, Texas.

To open the night is Natalie Carmody – the very talented, Fremantle based indiefolkpopsoul ukulele songstress!
