Jazz on the Rocks 2023

The incredible 15-piece band Mace Francis & His 950 Express is back at the Quarry this January for Jazz on the Rocks 2023. This year, they will be joined by vocalists Lucy Iffla and Jordan Boase singing classic jazz hits from Ella Fitzgerald, Frank Sinatra and Joe Williams.

In support we have The Fix. This excellent, tight-knit, and spontaneous quartet performed a late-night jazz session for many years at The Moon Café. The Fix will deliver impromptu jazz at its finest - expect a high energy take on hard bop, featuring tunes made popular by classic groups like Art Blakey, Wayne Shorter, Miles Davis, Herbie Hancock, and Lee Morgan, as well as a few original compositions.
