A side-splitting modern take on Gilbert and Sullivan’s much-loved comic opera Pirates of Penzance will soon sail into Perth.
The ‘rocked-up’ romp dubbed ‘‘POP’’ Pirates of Penzance comes to the Quarry Amphitheatre all the way from the UK for a run of shows in March.
The family-friendly shows are the latest from the Platinum Entertainment team, which has recently won acclaim for its productions of CATS The Musical, We Will Rock You, and Jesus Christ Superstar.
Filled with crazy characters, fun, frolics and four-part harmony, the shows run from March 12 to 22.
